Kota Doria takes it's name from a small town of Rajasthan in India, called Kota, where this specific style of weaving has been practised for generations. Doria itself means thread. The small squares on the fabric, is the most significant and unique feature of Kota Doria weaving. The fabric has been woven by hand on a traditional loom.
Fifth-generation, master artisan and Indian National Award Winner, Santosh Kumar Dhanopia has developed this floral Sanganeri print.
