White and Gold Scatter Print - Colette Vagabond Pants
A crisp yet sporty pair of pants with a fun criss-cross pattern in the front, that can be paired with a short or long top, that can look both casual and corporate. Named the Colette Vagabond Pants, after French writer Colette's 1910 book, these pants are for those who like looking polished and feeling comfortable, as much as they like wandering and exploring.
The art of weaving Kota Doria cotton has been passed through generations of weavers in Kota, a town situated in eastern parts of Rajasthan, India. The unique "khat" or squared check pattern of this handloom woven fabric is unlike any other textile. The word "Doria" comes from the Hindi word, "Dori" which means threads.
The Kota Doria fabric for this dress has been developed right at its tradtional source in Kaithun, Kota, from a social enterprise called Acharya Vidya Sagar Hathkarga Samiti that provides sustainable employment and training opportunities to both men and women.
The gold scatter print has been developed by fifth- generation , Indian National Award winner master block printer, Santosh Kumar Dhanopia of Sanganer, Jaipur.
